Security¶
Passwords¶
In modern, secure, and compliant applications, password entropy and rotation provides an extra layer of security. Some suggestions for strong passwords include:
- At least 7 characters long
- Contain both numeric and alphabetic characters
- Changed at least every 90 days
- Must not be the same as the last four passwords
Gridspace’s Role in Password Security
Gridspace strongly recommends the usage of an SSO provider using SAML. Currently Gridspace does not have controls in place to verify password strength and rotations, however most SSO providers can provide this functionality.
